Dr. Chyrie is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Licensed Acupuncturist specializing in family medicine including but not limited to pediatric acupuncture, women’s health, fertility and perinatal support.

She is an aspiring astronaut and currently pioneering acupuncture in extreme environments research initiative. This October, she will lead a groundbreaking study exploring acupuncture as a non-pharmaceutical countermeasure for g-force–induced nausea and stress regulation on astronauts during parabolic spaceflight.

This research marks the emergence of integrative medicine in aerospace health and highlights San Diego’s leadership in scientific innovation.
